gup software package provides let a remote site change their newsgroups subscription, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gup
gup is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gup package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gup *
You will get with gup package name, version, architecture and description in a table
